This Privacy Policy explains how the Screen Mirror Android application accesses, uses, processes, shares, and protects information when you use the App.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Access and Process

Screen Mirror is designed to allow users to discover compatible TVs and receiving devices on their local network and cast or mirror content from their Android device.

The App does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, phone number, or other account registration information.

Depending on the features you use, the App may access or process the following content after you choose to use the relevant feature.

Photos and Videos

You may select photos or videos stored on your Android device and cast them to a compatible TV or receiving device.

The App accesses photos and videos only when you select them for casting.

Files and Documents

You may select files, PDFs, documents, or other supported files from your Android device and display or cast them to a compatible TV or receiving device.

The App accesses files only when you select them through the applicable Android file or document selection functionality.

Live Phone Screen

The App provides live screen mirroring using Android's MediaProjection technology.

When you start screen mirroring, Android displays a system permission prompt asking you to authorize screen capture. Screen capture begins only after you provide the required permission.

The App uses the authorized MediaProjection session to capture your device screen and transmit the screen content to the selected compatible TV or receiving device.

You can stop screen mirroring at any time.

Live Camera

If you choose the live camera casting feature, the App may access your device camera to provide the requested camera-casting functionality.

Camera access occurs only when you use the relevant feature and provide any required Android permission.

Live Sketch / Whiteboard

The App may allow you to create and display drawings, sketches, or whiteboard content on a compatible TV or receiving device.

The content you create is used to provide the requested casting functionality.

Web Photos and Videos

The App may allow you to access and cast supported photos and videos from websites.

The App processes web content only as necessary to provide the browsing and casting functionality requested by you.

The App may allow you to access and cast supported YouTube videos.

Your use of YouTube is also subject to YouTube's applicable terms and privacy policies.

The App does not claim ownership of YouTube content or other third-party content.

In-App Browser

The App may provide an in-app browser that allows you to access and view web pages and supported online content.

The App may process information necessary to load and display the requested web pages and to provide supported casting functionality.

2. Supported Casting Devices

The App may allow you to cast or mirror content to compatible supported devices, including:

Compatibility and available casting functionality may vary depending on the TV model, operating system, network configuration, and supported technologies.

3. Device Discovery and Local Network Connections

The App may discover compatible TVs and receiving devices available on the same local network as your Android device.

Device discovery and communication may use your local Wi-Fi or LAN connection.

Information required to establish a connection may include local network information, device names, device addresses, connection information, and other technical information necessary to identify and communicate with compatible devices.

Direct Local Network Transmission

When you cast or mirror content to a compatible TV or receiving device, the relevant content is transmitted directly between your Android device and the selected receiving device over the local network.

Screen content, photos, videos, files, documents, camera content, and other casting content are not uploaded to Poster App LLP's servers or cloud storage for the purpose of providing the casting functionality.

Poster App LLP does not intentionally store your mirrored screen content or user-selected casting content on its servers.

4. TV Remote Control

The App may provide remote-control functionality for compatible TVs and receiving devices.

When you use the remote-control feature, commands may be transmitted over the local network to the selected compatible device.

The App does not require an account to use the remote-control functionality.

Crashlytics may collect information such as:

Crashlytics does not intentionally collect the actual screen content, photos, videos, documents, camera feed, or other media being cast through the App.

8. Android Permissions and Device Access

Depending on the features you use, Android may request access to certain device capabilities.
